OVERVIEW
Manage and develop the North American business for STEIN Automation. This position will support existing STEIN customers while consistently developing new business with new and existing customers. The manager will also be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the STEIN representative network assisting in sales activities and further market development in North America.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focus on key project sales activities with customers and sales representatives.
- Collaborate with STEIN team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
- Establish specific sales goals and target customers with the sales network.
- Provide the necessary sales support to customers and sales representatives for customers
(Budget proposals, technical support, presentations, etc.). - Report and maintain information submitted into STEIN CRM system for accurate follow up and forecast information.
- Timely respond to all inquiries and provide excellent customer service to customer base and rep network.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement with industry associations (Automate, Assembly, etc.).
- Comply with STEIN company policies, procedures, and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a engineering or management discipline or equivalent experience in assembly auto-mation, robotic automation or motion control. Experience with a German/Swiss North American company in these industries preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in typical Microsoft Office and related CRM software programs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position will initially be a work-from-home position with preferred locations being in the US Midwest, Southeast or Mid-Atlantic regions. Consideration will also be given to residents in other regions including Canada.
